Safety Drills

Dixon Montessori conducts monthly safety drills. The purpose of these drills is to prepare students and staff to respond safely in the event of a real emergency. The types of drills are varied monthly so that everyone on campus is prepared to respond to fire, earthquakes, chemical spills, intruders on campus and any other situation that might cause the school to relocate on site or to a remote location. Drills are scheduled to occur during class time, lunchtime and recess to prepare students and staff for any eventuality.
