ENROLLMENT

DMCS will serve students Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grade during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.

Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year is currently closed. Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year began on January 11th and closed on February 4th. Packets received after 4pm on February 4th will NOT be part of the first round of enrollment, but will be enrolled as space is available or placed on the wait list for the 2022-2023 school year.

If the number of pupils who wish to attend the school exceeds the school’s capacity at any grade level, enrollment shall be determined by public random drawing in accordance with the enrollment preferences mandated by the State Board of Education and the California Department of Education.

The DMCS Enrollment Lottery was held on March 9th, 2022 at 9am. Results from the lottery will be posted in front of the school as well as on this web page (see below).

Please email enrollment@dixonmontessori.org if you have any questions about the enrollment process.

Charter schools are not allowed to discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in the charter school because the pupil exhibits any characteristics such as students with disabilities, academically low-achieving, English learners, neglected or delinquent, homeless, socially economically disadvantaged, foster youth, or based on nationality, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Charter schools are not allowed to request a pupil's records before enrollment or encourage a child who is enrolled in a charter school to dis-enroll or transfer to another school. A parent, guardian, or pupil (18 years or older) may file a Charter School Complaint Form to the authorizing entity if they suspect the charter school is in violation of Education Code Section 47605(d)(4).
