Advisory Council

The Dixon Montessori Charter Advisory Council is a group of parents, community members, teachers and staff who work together to improve our school’s educational programs. In addition to creating a plan for school improvement, this group also reviews and updates the site safety plan, implements community outreach and promotes positive public relations, evaluates the progress made toward school goals and carries out the duties assigned to them by the school’s governing board. The advisory council may address some parent concerns or complaints about the school program and may also provide opinions on divisive school issues.
