                                                                       Meet the Governing Board Members

Board Chair and Treasurer ~ Dean Crechriou
Dean Crechriou is a retired educator with cumulative educational experience totaling 44 years, 26 of those as Superintendent or Superintendent-Principal.  The last 6 years of that experience was Regional Director of Region 7 of the Regional System of District and School Support working with schools in a six county region to meet the accountability requirements of “No Child Left Behind.”   Post retirement Dean has continued to be active in education through consulting, serving on a school site council, and serving as treasurer of the CA Coop Directors Association.   As an officer of the association Dean assisted in the development and delivery of an annual statewide conference involving the California Department of Education personnel. Dean is married and has three grown children.  Dean has two grandchildren who attend Dixon Montessori Charter School.

Board Vice Chair ~ Francisco Guizar
Francisco Guizar received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration from Cal State Sacramento. Francisco currently works as a Resource Superintendent for a California heavy civil contractor. Francisco is married and has three children, two of who attend DMCS. Francisco has called Dixon home for the last 6 years and is cu
rrently a board member for the Dixon Soccer Club and has been an active coach for recreational soccer, baseball, and basketball.

Board Secretary ~ Regina Espinoza
​
Regina Espinoza was appointed to the DMCS Board in July of 2018. She has multiple degrees in Engineering and graduate degrees in Public Policy and Planning Development from both the University of the Pacific, and the University of Southern California (USC). Regina is currently a General Manager for Municipal Improvement Districts in the Delta Region of California. She was raised in Dixon, and now has 2 children attending DMCS.

Board Member ~ Jeremy McInturf
Jeremy McInturf was appointed to the board in October 2019. He holds both a bachelor and master degree in accountancy from California State University of Sacramento. He is a licensed certified professional accountant (CPA) and works professionally in the public accounting space for a large regional CPA firm with a focus on helping private companies, principally in the manufacturing, distribution and agribusiness industries, with their financial reporting requirements, amongst other business advisory needs. He's worked in the public sector for over 10 years. Jeremy also serves as the treasurer for the Sacramento Children's Museum. Jeremy grew up in the Elk Grove area and currently resides in the Vacaville area with his family. Jeremy is married with 4 kids, 2 of which attend DMCS.

Board Member ~ Perry Settlemoir 
Perry Settlemoir has resided on the board for Dixon Montessori Charter School since January of 2022. He has two children that attend as students to DMCS. He is a professional educator with experience teaching both high school students and professional adults. His time at Edison High was spent lecturing mathematics and also coaching the girls golf program. He gained CTT+ certification at his current role as a Senior Technical Trainer with a state wide power company. He is a dedicated father and coach with many years of supporting local youth activities. He has recently become a local small business owner. Perry plans to use his experience to influence DMCS in an attempt to provide quality education in academic and social aspects to all that arrive to its campus.
