Meet the Governing Board Members

Board Chair ~ Noelle DeLaney Noelle DeLaney was appointed to the DMCS Board in November of 2022. Noelle has a bachelor's degree in health science from California State University, Sacramento. She serves as Chief Operating Officer for the National School Choice Awareness Foundation, a national not for profit organization that focuses on raising awareness of K-12 educational options and helping parents navigate their school choice options. She lives in Dixon with her husband Andrew and son, Caleb, who attends DMCS. Term: 11/28/2023-11/08/2026 Contact: [email protected] Board Vice Chair ~ Perry Settlemoir Perry Settlemoir has resided on the board for Dixon Montessori Charter School since January of 2022. He has two children that attend as students to DMCS. He is a professional educator with experience teaching both high school students and professional adults. His time at Edison High was spent lecturing mathematics and also coaching the girls golf program. He gained CTT+ certification at his current role as a Senior Technical Trainer with a state wide power company. He is a dedicated father and coach with many years of supporting local youth activities. He has recently become a local small business owner. Perry plans to use his experience to influence DMCS in an attempt to provide quality education in academic and social aspects to all that arrive to its campus. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He currently works in Planning and Resources as a Manager for a local utility company. His experience includes many years in Regulatory Compliance working with State and Federal Codes. Kevin coaches various youth sports in the community. He lives in Dixon with his wife and two children who attend DMCS. Contact: [email protected] Board Secretary ~ Greg Tripp Term: Contact: [email protected] Board Member ~ Caitlin O'Halloran-Hellar Caitlin is a governance and policy leader with more than three decades of experience in education, public policy, and community engagement. Since 2018, she has served as Governance and Policy Specialist at the Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC). Prior to her work at CSDC, Caitlin spent most of her career working on education and human services policy issues in senior leadership positions at the California State Capitol. She earned her bachelor's degree in Government from Mills College. Caitlin is deeply committed to public and community service. She is a co-founder of the Dixon Montessori Charter School, she served nine years on the Dixon Unified School District Governing Board, and was a State Board of Education appointee to the Advisory Commission on Charter Schools. She is a frequent conference and workshop presenter and was honored as a California State Senate Woman of the Year in 2016. Caitlin and her husband Derek live in Dixon but travel frequently to visit their adult children, hike state and national parks, and occasionally seek out international adventures. Locally, Caitlin can be found working on regional land use issues or gamely showing up on the pickleball court with enthusiasm that far exceeds her skill level. Contact: [email protected] |
